To what has got to be one of the most perfect campsites and hubs on the route of the Tour de France “le Grande Depart”.
“Langsett le Hub Camping” has been set up in the perfect position for tour de france camping on the tour de france route. You will be camping not only on the edge of the peak district park with is amazing scenic views, you'll also be camping so close to the route you'll be able to smell the riders aftershave from your tent for a true tour de france camping experience!

Langsett le Hub Camping is positioned on the border between Barnsley, Huddersfield and Sheffield giving great access to the cyclists' route on the second day. There is plenty to do in the Peak District and the surrounding areas meaning you could have a fun packed break on the run up to Le Grand Depart on Sunday 6th July.

Here at Langsett le Hub Camping, the Grand Depart / Tour de France weekend is going to be an hive of activity. Our week long celebrations boast a live music marquee, bars fully stocked with local and european beers, cocktail bar, cider and Guinness bar, coffee bars, Gourmet food venders, arts and crafts fair, a traditional fun fair featuring a helter skelter and bouncy castles and thats just for starters! There are going to be many other fun games and challenges over the weekend, why not come down and join in the pre race build up!

With a estimated 60,000 people due to visit the immediate area our camping (tents and campervan) plots are rapidly filling up. We have tour de france camping for 200 tents and parking for 8000 cars alone. This is sure to be the party experience of a lifetime!

Due to a lot of road closures most campsites will have a vehicle lock in policy, the beauty of Langsett le Hub Camping is that whilst being a matter of metres from the route as the Tour de France passes Langsett from Holme Moss, we have full access from a rear road. This enables our happy campers to come and go as they please, no waiting around for the road closures to be reopened before or after the riders pass.

The Beer Festival will now be held from Thursday 3rd July and running all weekend. Campers are welcomed to join us from Monday the 30th June onwards.
