Elmer Day
Central Library is inviting families to celebrate popular children’s character Elmer the patchwork elephant on the first ever ‘Elmer Day’, Saturday 28 May.

Children are invited to visit the library between 2 to 3pm dressed in their brightest colours for a fun, family event including storytelling, crafts and games.

Camp Active

Here at Camp Active we offer a wide range of multi-sport activities and games for children aged 5-11.

Our aim is to get children outdoors and active during the school holidays, combining quality coaching, nutritional advice and sport awareness with a fun programme that will appeal to all children.

We're led by professional coaches and children are welcome to participate daily or weekly as each session will have morning training before completing in a mini sports day each afternoon.

Shear Genius Sheep Shearing Festival
Join us as we shear the sheep to rid them of their winter fleeces and hear about how our sheep's wool is used to make carpets and yarn.

Throughout the event we will have lots of 'sheepish' craft activities, plus a special rhyming story that we've had especially written about our adventurous sheep and their antics.

There will also be daily appearances by our fluffy sheep character mascot and daily Secret Sheep Search's throughout the farm where entrants can be in with a chance of winning a family ticket to visit us again.
