All competitions and reader offers featured in the Barnsley Chronicle will contain the following text:

• The minimum age to qualify for any offer, or for entry into any competition will be clearly stated within the competition itself.
• The closing date for all entries, along with details of how the competition winner(s) will be contacted will be clearly stated within the competition itself.
• The supplier of any prize(s) or reader offer(s) may have additional terms and conditions, and these will be clearly stated within the competition itself.
• The offers and prizes on offer will be clearly stated within the competition itself, and there is no cash alternative to any prizes.
• Any company offering competition prizes reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value, if stated.
• Reader offers are always subject to availability, and additional terms will always be stated on the offer coupon itself.
• All entries will be considered fairly. The judges decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
• Competitions and reader offers are open to all UK residents, except for employees and immediate relatives of the Barnsley Chronicle, the companies supplying prizes, or anyone else professionally associated with the competition.
• No photocopies will be accepted for entry into competitions, or when redeeming coupons or vouchers. Entries to competitions must always be made on the official forms.
• No purchase necessary.
• The Barnsley Chronicle accepts no responsibility for entries that fail to be included in any competition for any reason.
