Scott Wiseman and Craig Davies are expecting to leave Barnsley this week but director Don Rowing insists their departures will not start a mass exodus.

The club have accepted a 'six figure' sum for defender Wiseman who was booed by Reds fans during the home loss to Birmingham on December 29. Rowing said: "It has not worked out for Scott at Barnsley. The fans have just not taken to him."

Davies is expected to join Bolton who met the £300,000 release clause in his contract. The club and player are discussing personal terms.

Barnsley have rejected an inquiry for midfielder Stephen Dawson from Birmingham and insist the in form Irishman is not for sale. Teenage defender John Stones has also been linked with a move away from Oakwell as have several other players but Rowing says nothing more will happen before a new manager is appointed.

He said: "The deals for Scott Wiseman and Craig Davies were in place under the previous management. We will reject bids for other players until we have a manager."
