Hill says international games may have caused 'two to six week' Davies injury

Barnsley's top-scorer Craig Davies will miss Tuesday night's game against Cyrstal Palace after injuring his hamstring at Charlton on Saturday.

The eight-goal striker will be out for two to six weeks and manager Keith Hill said Davies' involvement with Wales during the international break may have contributed to the injury. Davies played half an hour against Scotland then travelled to Croatia where he was an unused substitute.

"Craig tweaked his hamstring and it is as a result of playing during the international break," said Hill.

"It is a shame because I thought he was excellent against Charlton."
