Summer signing Mido has trained with Barnsley for the first time since August this week but manager Keith Hill says the player is just as unfit as when he joined and does not know when he will play.
Hill said: “I have seen glimpses of talent from Mido this week but I have seen the same from myself and David Flitcroft.
“We are three talented players but none of us are fit enough."
Egyptian international Mido is expected to play in development games soon but next Monday’s game could be too early.
