Dodworth woman Katherine Brunt is set to open the bowling for England in the Women’s World Twenty20 final on Sunday.
Brunt's team will face either Australia or the West Indies in the clash.
England Women are the only unbeaten team in the competition after winning their group matches against Pakistan, India and Australia – with Brunt taking a wicket in each game – then defeating New Zealand in the semi-final.
Brunt bowled superbly against the Kiwis as she began the match with a maiden in which England got a run out to leave New Zealand on none for one.
She conceded seven off her three overs as the Kiwis made 93 for eight which England chased down with three wickets remaining.
