Collins loaned out to Shrewsbury

Barnsley defender Lee Collins has joined League One side Shrewsbury Town on a month-long loan.

The 24-year-old joined the Reds on loan from Port Vale at the beginning of the year before signing a two-year deal after making seven appearances.

But Collins, who can play anywhere across the back four, has not been able to get in the team this season despite injuries to other defenders. He had been playing in the development squad but was left out for their game against Leicester on Monday.
