Sagar misses out on medal in London

Ian Sagar's dreams of winning a medal at the Paralympics are over after they lost their bronze medal match to the USA on Saturday night.


GB lost 61-46 to the USA to make it two consecutive losses after they were beaten by Canada in the semi-final on Thursday.


Hoyland Common man Sagar scored five points in the bronze medal match to take his tally to 81 in seven games in London.


GB lost their first two matches in the group stages but made it into the quarter-finals with three straight wins then beat Turkey in a thriller on Wednesday night.
