Winners Dodworth staying at Miner's

Dodworth Rugby League Club have moved to dispel rumours that they are leaving the Miner’s Welfare facility where they recorded a fine win over Lindley Swifts on Saturday.

Dodworth Rugby League Club have moved to dispel rumours that they are leaving the Miner’s Welfare facility where they recorded a fine win over Lindley Swifts on Saturday.

 

Club secretary Stuart Moss told the Chronicle: “Dodworth Rugby Club is proud to represent the Miner’s Welfare and will continue to do so with the support of the committee and local community.”

 

Chris Thomas was the star on Saturday as he scored two tries while the other scorers were Jevon Hodgson, Daniel Blanchard and Paul Hallas.

 

Greg Pygott converted all five tries and was named the refereee’s man of the match.

 

Dodworth entertain local rivals Dearne Valley on Saturday at 2pm.
