BIRDWELL Wheelers' time trialling continues to go from strength to strength, with Darren Gill recording a superb time in the Peak District and Penistone man Trevor Mayne (pictured) breaking yet another club record.

Mayne delivered a flawless ride in the Godric CC 50 mile time trial near his home town of Thetford to destroy his own club record, set last year, by three minutes, averaging 27.7 miles an hour to record 1-48.26 and take third overall, three minutes behind the eventual winner.
