Dodworth may have lost to second placed Birkenshaw but they took plenty of heart from a spirited performance. Shaun Wragg was man of the match and Gary Sykes chipped in with his first try at senior level but despite their efforts it was Birkenshaw who returned with a 24-12 victory.
