NHS Barnsley staff will take part in the sixth annual national survey to give its views on working for the organisation.
More than 800 members of staff will get a questionnaire covering issues like job satisfaction, training, work-life balance, violence and health and safety.
Chief executive Ailsa Claire said it gave staff an opportunity to improve the way they worked and give better care.
She said: "I believe that for us to provide even better care and services we need to understand how our staff feel and to engage them in an ongoing dialogue about their working lives and the services they provide."
