THE RED Devils weren't on the pitch at Old Trafford this weekend but a group of daredevils were after they abseiled into the Theatre of Dreams on Saturday.

Elaine Barley, of High Street, Penistone, was one of 240 who took part in the free air abseil from Manchester United's north stand to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

Elaine, 26, said it was the ultimate adrenaline rush and the stadium was fantastic. She had hoped to catch a glimpse of a player but they were busy preparing for the away game at Chelsea on Sunday.
