Pupils to thrash teachers again?By JOANNE WRIGHT FORGET traditional football derbys: this will be a rivalry to match all others - Penistone Grammar School pupils versus teachers.
Student William Mott has organised the charity match for a second year running to raise money for Prostate Cancer Research after his dad was diagnosed with the disease in November 2006.
Pupils aged 11 to 18 will take on their teachers on Monday after school, with parents and friends cheering on the youngsters.
Last year, he raised more than £700 for the charity and this year he hopes to double it.
William, 16, of Haigh Lane, Hoylandswaine, said: "When my dad was diagnosed, instead of getting upset I decided to do something about it. I asked one of my teachers what I could do and the football match was suggested. We've got some good players and we're all up for it. We want to beat the teachers."
After writing off to local football clubs and businesses before Christmas, he has been given raffle prizes including a digital camera, football tickets and days out at Cannon Hall Farm.
