
TENSIONS are mounting among council staff amid pay cuts and threats to work to rule after the results of job evaluation were revealed this week.
The scheme was ordered to ensure compliance with European rules on equal pay. The roles of all but the most senior members of staff have been reviewed.
Pay will be protected for a year but bonuses stop next month. If work-to-rule is brought in the fed-up staff would do exactly wht their new job specification states and nothing more.
