Charity coffee morning to be held to help African school

By gail robinson, Town Reporter Tuesday 2nd September 2014
A CHARITY coffee morning will be held in Barnsley next weekend to help a school in Africa.

'Africa with Love' is the name of a charity which helps children in the village of Kyjubira in Uganda.

Several local people already sponsor children in Kyjubira and they regularly hold fund-raising events to support the Ugandan school.

A coffee morning for Africa with Love will be held at Pogmoor Methodist Church on Wade Street (off Pogmoor Road) on Saturday September 20 from 10am until 12noon.

One of the organisers John Higgins said: "Come along for a chat, bring a friend and help support a very worthwhile charity."

The car park across the road is free on Saturdays.
