Postponed gala set to take place

By Alison Burkinshaw, Royston Reporter Friday 29th August 2014
IT'S finally time for Carlton Gala.

Organisers decided to push back the gala to tomorrow (Saturday) after it was postponed at the beginning of the month due to bad weather.

The gala, which is organised by the Monk Bretton Ward Alliance, has something for the whole family.

There will be free pony rides, a dog show, birds of prey, bouncy castles, snakes, spiders and creepy crawlies, face painting, a DJ, freebies, stalls, hot/cold food and drinks and fairground rides.

The gala starts at 12pm and finishes at 3pm.
