Resident has traffic concerns

By helen williams, Hoyland Reporter Tuesday 26th August 2014
EXTRA cars from two new detached homes planned for a hill in Jump will tip a growing traffic hazard 'over the edge', says a resident.

Grandfather of four James Clegg says speeding and inconsiderate parking is already a serious risk for pupils of Jump Primary School and pedestrians on Roebuck Hill.

He said: "The plans to build two more detached houses next to the hill will tip things over the edge. "Children are already walking and cycling down the hill totally unaware of vehicles coming in and out."
