Snapper Adele is married to the job

By Nick Ward Friday 15th August 2014
AS A professional photographer Adele Haywood has been to more weddings than Cilla Black's hat.

And yet this 29 -year-old from St George's Road, Barnsley, only started taking wedding pictures five years ago. Earlier this month she moved from her former base in Berneslai Close into a new studio.

She employed a team of local craftsmen to transform the old Co-op in Agnes Road, which had been empty for six years previously, into a purpose built studio ideal to suit her other speciality - new-born baby portraits.

Adele said: "People often ask do you prefer to shoot weddings or new borns?

"I say I love doing both - but you don't get wee'd and pooed on quite as much doing weddings."
