THE SECOND annual Womfest music festival proved a big hit and organisers are confident of hitting a £10,000 target for charity.
Thirty artists packed out ten venues over two days of music in the sun.
Ex-soldier Ben Parkinson started off the festivites and soldiers collected money for Help For Heroes charity over the two days. A total of just over £7,000 was counted up this week and more money is expected to come in through an event this weekend.
An attempt at a Guinness World Record will be rescheduled as the ice cream needed melted due to a power cut.
