Family pleads for bike's return

By Nick Ward Friday 1st August 2014
Shell Walton and the stolen bike

A BARNSLEY family is appealing for the return of a mountain bike which holds enormous sentimental value to them.

The bike once belonged to Daniel Bunting - nicknamed Dids - who died 10 years ago.

On Wednesday it was ridden to the Court House car park in County Way by Daniel's brother Philip, 20, of Gilroyd Lane, Gilroyd.

He says he allowed a friend to take the bike and his mobile phone to fetch something from the shop.

And that was the last time he saw it.

If you have any information as to its whereabouts please call Philip's mum Shell Walton on 07851 266695.
