Student arrives in style for prom

A PRIMARY school pupil pulled up at his school prom on Tuesday night in a £170,000 McLaren sports car.

Joshua Missa, 11, of Oakhill Primary, is mad about cars and his parents got into a discussion on a McLaren forum online.

A generous owner of an optician's chain offered to chauffeur him for the night free of charge.

Mum Elizabeth, of Barnsley Road, Darfield, said Joshua was determined to be able to afford a car like it when he is older.

"It's certainly focussed his mind now. He knows he has to work hard."
