By stephanie daley, Assistant Editor Friday 4th July 2014

PRINCESS Anne is visiting Barnsley today.

The Princess Royal will visit the Citizens' Advice Bureau in the town centre, the Riding for the Disabled centre at Oakwell, and Horizon Community College.

Horizon principal Nick Bowen said: "It's great for Barnsley that the Princess Royal is visiting, and that she will visit Horizon, the biggest of Barnsley's fantastic new school buildings."

About 200 Horizon students will get to see the princess.
