SCI-FI fan Dave Elliott has crafted a dining room table from old motorbikes - that looks like it should be found on the set of the Alien movie.

Dave, 47, a coach maker and fabricator of Monument Drive, Brierley, spent four weeks painstakingly putting it together.

"I've got it in the dining room at home," said Dave. "But my wife Hannah says it's got to go."

Dave has advertised the bespoke table and chairs set for sale on Facebook.

It's fantastic! Can't Dave sell it to the Giger Musem in Switzerland? I have been and they would love it!!
