Tony Christie heads to Barnsley

IT may not be the way to Amarillo but Locke park will be the venue for plenty of singing and dancing on Saturday.


Picnic in the Park is celebrating 20 years of Barnsley hospice. Topping the bill is chart topper Tony Christie with his band.

There will also be music from the Reflections- former members of the Moody Blues, 10CC and the Manfreds


The event, organised by solicitors Wosskow Brown, runs from 5pm until 11pm.

Tickets £15 adults, £10 six to 12 -years-olds and five and unders free from 399826 or from Barnsley hospice on 244244.
