Cause of death revealed for man found in stream

A MAN who was found dead in a stream in Wombwell died after drowning, a post mortem has revealed.


The man - who has not yet been formally identified - was found by a dogwalker in the water close to Valley Road, Wombwell, at around 6.05pm on Monday.


A police spokesman said they are investigating but officers believe that the death is not suspicious.
