Billy the pygmy gets to new heights

MEET Billy - the pygmy goat who takes the notion of living the high life to a whole new level.

Billy and his friend Bella have their own tree house- well actually a goat hut - seven feet up a tree at Pott House Hamlet in Silkstone.

But owner Tom Horsfield Jnr spent time researching their needs and decided to build for them a special home.

"Pygmy goats are at their happiest clambering up mountains and steep hills," said Tom, 29, who manages the hamlet.

"All the books say they can be kept happy as long as they have something to climb so I thought if I made them a tree house that would be ideal.

"As soon as it was built and they realised they could clamber up and down they absolutely loved it."
