Learning facilities plan announced for Cannon Hall

By gail robinson, Town Reporter Tuesday 25th March 2014

THE former servants' quarters at Cannon Hall Museum are to be transformed into high class learning facilities.

The project has been made possible thanks to £143,000 from the Arts Council.

Once completed schools, families and adults will be able to take advantage of a modern learning lab.

It will also allow the museum to offer new types of learning experiences such as family learning activities and master classes for adults as well as space for community use.

The basement room will be redecorated, including new flooring, providing a new classroom space with IT equipment. New toilet facilities will also be created next to the learning lab.
