STUDENT Emma Louise Fielding flew the flag for Barnsley - by wearing a dress made out of four copies of the Chronicle to the final of a beauty pageant.

Emma, 19, was a finalist at the Miss South Yorkshire competition in Sheffield on Friday.

For the 'eco' section of the competition, Emma enlisted the help of her best friend to make the dress out of town editions of the Chronicle.

The full story is carried in all editions of the Barnsley Chronicle, dated February 21.
