Bin collection dates for festive period

Bin collections days over Christmas have been issued by the council.

 

For the next two weeks, people who are due to have their grey bins collected on Christmas Day will have their bins collected today, while those due for collections on New Year's Day will now be collected Monday December 30.

 

People who would normally have their grey bin collected on Thursday (Boxing Day) will now have it collected on Saturday December 28 instead.

 

People who should have their brown bin collected on Wednesday January 1 will have it collected on Saturday January 4.

 

People who should have their blue bin and white sack collected on Thursday (Boxing Day) will have it collected today instead.

 

Residents who should have their blue and brown bins collected on Wednesday (Christmas Day) will now have them collected tomorrow, December 21 and those on Wednesday 1 January (New Year's Day) will now have them collected on Saturday 4 January.

 

Christmas trees can be recycled at any of the borough's household waste recycling centres which are open every day of the year except Christmas day, boxing day and New Year's day.
