Disability unit delays possible

Severe weather may cause learning disability units to open later than usual tomorrow.

Learning Disabilities Day Opportunities units will not open on March 22 until they are suitably staffed and deemed safe to operate, which may cause delays.

Units will open where possible and pick up times are likely to be later than normal.

Service users who travel independently by taxi or by their own transport are advised to contact the unit first to ensure it is open before starting their journey.

Additionally, if the adverse weather persists, units may be required to close earlier than normal and as such service users may return home/need collecting early.
