A pretty dance student from Barnsley College is vying for a place in the final of a teen beauty pageant.
Bethany Putt, 17, is hoping to earn a place in the Miss Teen Queen Final in London in September, where she says she will be performing a dance and appearing in a dress and a bikini.
She travelled down to the capital last month for a casting session where she had her hair and make-up done and had photos taken.
Next Saturday her photo will go online and the public will then vote for their favourite to go through to the live show.
Bethany, from Rotherham, said: "I have always wanted to be a model but I had braces on my teeth, This competition came about and now I have my braces removed I thought I would go for it.
"I think my dancing background will help in the competition."
