A budget focus group planned for Thursday has been cancelled by Barnsley Council.
A spokesman for the council said three focus groups on the subjects of social care, children and young people and your neighbourhood will no longer take place.
However, people who were planning to attend can still contribute their views by emailing communications@barnsley.gov.uk or joining the debate on its Facebook page www.facebook.com/BarnsleyCouncil.
The deadline for views is 5pm on Thursday.
