Body found at house in Wombwell

The body of a man in his 40s has been found at a house in Wombwell, prompting a police investigation.

Police were called to the property, on Bartholomew Street, at 5.40am on Friday.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigations are ongoing.
