Meet Ronnie Neville - the Chronicle's new cartoonist.

Ronnie, of Darfield Road, Cudworth, will be a drawing a cartoon a week based on a Chronicle story.

Ronnie, 59, loves drawing and released a book of his work a few years ago.

He added: "I'm definitely looking forward to it, it's something I've wanted to do all my life but the opportunity never came."

His teacher at Cudworth Secondary Modern School predicted he could have a career in cartoons and caricatures.

Ronnie added: "Forty years later her prediction finally came true."

His first cartoon is based on the story about Mike Tyson coming to the Metrodome to speak about his life and career.

People were unhappy because of his conviction for rape and started a petition to stop his appearance.
