It will be a case of art imitating life when Jenny Crummack plays the lead role in a production of Calendar Girls.
The Staincross mother-of-two plays Annie, whose husband dies of leukaemia, prompting her friends in the WI to produce a nude calendar to raise funds for the local hospital.
Jenny will take to the stage at the Academy Theatre, Birdwell, and it will be a role close to home for Jenny, whose husband Mike died of cancer in 2003.
