Men wanted over Thurnscoe assault

TWO men are wanted by police following an alleged assault on a taxi driver in Thurnscoe.

 

The assault is believed to have happened on June 28 at about 4.25am after a taxi was hired from Wakefield to take three men to Thurnscoe.

 

When they arrived, the taxi driver was assaulted and his takings were stolen.

 

Police believe the man hold information.

 

They also want to speak to a third man who is described as white and in his mid 20s.

 

He is 5ft 11ins tall and of a stocky build with a shaved head and has a tattoo on the back of his neck with stars in the design.

 

He also has tattoos on both of his arms.
