Fault caused Mercedes blaze

A suspected electrical fault in a Mercedes caused a fire damaging it and two other cars.

 

Fire-fighters from Barnsley were called to the residential car park on Barnsbridge Grove, Measborough Dyke, at 2.30am.

 

The Mercedes was the first vehicle to set alight and the flames spread to a Ford Fiesta before damaging the wing mirror of Peugeot. Two fire engines attended the blaze and left at 2.30am.
