A new one-way system has been introduced in Penistone town centre - causing havoc. Dan Greaves went to assess the impact.

Baffled motorists clogged up Penistone town centre as they got to grips with a new one way system on Monday.

It has led to traffic queuing through the town. Several residents spoke to the Chronicle for this week's Penistone edition.

Jack Briggs, of Shelley Close, Penistone said: "I'll give it two months at most."

Posted by Caz35 on Thu 2nd Feb 2012 at 09:25pm I think they should not allow parking at the church opp bus stop apart from when there are funerals or weddings Also there should be some sort of crossing from Clarks chemist to the bank or paper shop, I was waiting ages to cross the road.
