Have a belting night with boxer Hatton

Former world champion boxer Ricky 'the Hitman' Hatton will give a talk to Barnsley fight fans next week.

Hatton, who famously piled on the pounds between fights, will speak about his life in and out the ring, his training regime and life after boxing.

The Manchester-born fighter recorded 45 wins with 32 knockouts, only losing two fights to the top two fighters in their division, Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. He will appear at the Metrodome Arena on Friday, February 10.

Events manager Richard Bailey said: "He is one of Britain’s greatest ever boxers and he has some fantastic stories to tell."

Comedian and Compare Jed Stone will host the evening’s entertainment, which starts at 7.30pm.
