ALMOST £90 million of European money poured into Barnsley in ten years to help regeneration - but it is claimed 'it's difficult to see where it was spent'.

Some of the money went on projects like the interchange and The Civic - but there is concern that much of it was squandered or misused.

The Chronicle has obtained figures under the Freedom of Information Act.
