THE Duke of Kent likes Kendray - or at least that's what he told Mayor of Barnsley John Parkinson.

The Queen's cousin was shown around Kendray Business Centre on Wednesday.

Coun Parkinson said: "He likes Kendray. He was very impressed with all the changes he's seen. He likes the new houses, and the fact everyone is getting a chance."

He said the business centre was a 'marvellous facility'.

He said: "I've seen some very successful small businesses, one or two tell me they're going to have to move out because they've outgrown their space."
