Family says farewell to Tiffany, 13

A PAIR of pink ornamental ballet shoes rested on top of the white coffin of Tiffany Auld as she was carried into church on Tuesday.

Hundreds of friends and family packed into Elsecar Church to pay their respects to the popular 13-year-old who was killed in a road accident two weeks ago today.

Father Nigel Holmes led the tributes to the teenager who loved to perform and had a passion for dancing.

He said she was a kind and bubbly girl who was a ray of sunshine to everyone who had been lucky enough to know her.

Several cousins spoke of Tiff's infectious sense of humour and unforgettable smile and fondly remembered times from their childhood.

Sobs turned to laughter as they recalled how she would make a stage out of cardboard boxes and then invite neighbours to watch her performance.

The congregation heard she was adored by her four-year-old sister, Berry, whose first word was 'Tiff'.
