A YOUNG mum who collapsed while getting on a train at Thurnscoe came round to find her purse and mobile phone missing from her handbag.
On Thursday October 30, the woman was getting on a train bound for Meadowhall when she suffered a fit and collapsed. Ambulance crews treated her while she was still on the train but afterwards she noticed the items were missing from her bag which she had hung on the handles of her child's pushchair.
Although the train was busy, the victim didn't notice anyone near the pushchair and police are asking for witnesses who were on the train and noticed anyone acting suspiciously at the time the woman had the fit to come forward.
