Concert for charity cyclists

A CONCERT will be held on Saturday at the Arches pub featuring several Barnsley bands and to raise money for Cancer Research.

The gig has been organised by Paul 'Pablo' Roffey and Billy Hall who grew up in Barnsley. They are hoping to join a charity bike ride across Cuba next year but first have to raise at least £5,700 for the Bone Cancer Research Trust.

The concert will feature The Exhibition, Gaia, Straight Razor Angels - all from Barnsley - and Leeds singer John Gomm. Paul said a friend's son had leukaemia which had prompted him to pursue the charity event. Details at www.pabloandbillycyclecuba.moonfruit.com
