A DOG who went missing while tied up at Tesco has been returned to her owner following an appeal in last week's Chronicle.

Brian Whitehouse said Suzy, his Jack Russell, was taken from Tesco a week last Sunday.

But after distributing posters and last week's article, he had a phone call from someone who had the pet. The pair were reunited at Tesco on Saturday.

Brian, 71, of Chapel Place, Ardsley, said: "I'm absolutely over the moon. She's a bit confused and disorientated - she's bound to be she was away for nearly a week. But she'll be back to her old self in a day or two."
