Coffee morning is a big success

A COFFEE morning hosted by a local MP has raised £362 for charity.

It took place last Friday at the office of John Healey, MP for Wentworth, in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. As well as coffee, tea, cakes and biscuits there was a tombola, raffle and sale of donated goods. Wath hairdressers Marsha's donated £100.

Mr Healey said: "Thank you to everyone who came along to show their support. People were even more generous than ever this year, helping us raise a great total for a really worthy cause."

Three raffle prizes, 6-10, 71-75 and 141-145 are unclaimed. Call into the office on Wath High Street.
