THE words “Strictly Come Dancing” have a ring about them for Jack and Melva Cardwell.
Despite both being 83, they still go dancing every week.
Last Thursday they really had something to dance about - their 65th wedding anniversary.
The couple live at The Willows, Oxspring and enjoyed a holiday in Scotland to mark the occasion.
Mr Cardwell is well known for the many and varied carved walking sticks he created to raise funds for Cancer Research. Mrs Cardwell was treasurer of Oxspring Good Companions Club for many years.
