Bobby tells of his nasty side

COMEDIAN Bobby Ball wowed fans in Grimethorpe this week with a stint at the Pentecostal Church.

The comic, from Oldham, gave a stand-up performance on Wednesday in front of an audience of 150.

He gave an insight into his personal life, his time spent with Tommy Cannon and how he found his faith. Bobby joked: "My best friends go all over the world and I come to Grimethorpe!"

He told how, as half of the longest working double act, he and Tommy had toured theatres and WMCs, became famous, and met the Royal family.

He also revealed problems with drink and adultery while on the road.
